Putting time and tension to the test for some Ab gains. Elevated Pikes in the @trxtraining straps are one of my favorite Ab/Core exercises.

Couple things here: notice my abs are in a contracted state the whole time as my chin is in my chest throughout the movement—this helps to ensure maximal tension in the core. Also, my butt and low back remain tight to avoid bowing in the low back on the down stroke of the movement, which almost gives a look of a rounded low back—that’s because the core is squeezed as tight as possible on the front and backside throughout the movement.
